I joined The Great in September 2021 as a Crowd Costume Trainee for Season 2. My role within the Crowd team was dynamic and multifaceted—I managed everything from dressing supporting artists and handling standby duties on large crowd days to assisting with fittings, implementing organizational strategies, and ensuring the smooth upkeep of costumes. Adaptability was key, and I was always on hand to support anyone in the Costume Department who needed assistance. By making myself indispensable, I gained extensive knowledge of the inner workings of each area of the department and a deeper understanding of the various roles within it.

For Season 3, Costume Designer Sharon Long invited me back, this time as a Junior Buyer. In this role, I collaborated closely with the Design Team, sourcing fabrics, trims, and haberdashery essential to crafting these remarkable costumes. This experience allowed me to strengthen relationships with suppliers and retailers and gain invaluable knowledge in costume buying and design support.
